Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme

To cover different categories like, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Disability, Hearing Impairment, Speech & Language Problem etc. Community Based Rehabilitation Programme has been organized in 69 places of Jhumpura and Sadar Block. Under this Programme we are extending various supports like Physiotherapy, Special Education, Vocational Training etc. Through supports we are able to educate the beneficiaries, improve their regularity of day-to-day Activities, physical fitness, aware the parents as well as the community, develop family & community acceptance, community participation, social inclusion etc. With Community’s active involvement we also prepared low-cost assistive devices like; parallel bar, mobility training equipment, balance 8, punching bag, theraband, weight cup by using of Bamboo, Coconut rope, tyre, Water Colour, Cycle tube, Old clothes, Sand etc. as per the condition & need of the child. We also prepare Disable friendly environment like; Ramp for easy access of wheel chair.
